In August 2016, Adaptive Balancing Power GmbH was founded under the direction of Hendrik Schaede-Bodenschatz and Nicolai Meder as a spin-off from the Technical University of Darmstadt. The goal of the company is to commercialize 4th generation flywheel mass storage devices, which our founders had been researching since 2009.
NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration has already tried its hand at developing the unique design of our AMPERAGE product. However, what the US space agency struggled with, Adaptive Balancing Power managed to successfully turn into reality.
Now we are really excited about the fifth anniversary of Adaptive Balancing Power. One thing is certain, especially with our entry into the fast-charging infrastructure for electromobility market: we have completed the next step and look forward to many continuing successful and exciting years as a turbo driver of the energy transition.
